It's been a while I last updated
about my pregnancy journey and thought maybe it's time to do so before the lil
bub pops out. Today it's week 31 for me, I'm getting nervous as time passes by
each day. The due date is getting nearer. In this third trimester, I am feeling
exhausted easily & it definitely brought back all the first trimester
memories. Of course getting very hungry often & going to the toilet are
part of it too. Earlier, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and with
proper diet & medication; I am glad that it is getting under control. As
for my high BP, it is rising. Anyways, I shall have my next check-up tomorrow
and shall see what the physician has to say. Hope everything will be under
control until she pops out.
Lil bub has been moving actively too, she has learned
to stretch with her elbows and knees. Sometimes it hurts as she stretches but I
don’t really mind that at ALL because I have been waiting for this ALL my life.
Oh yeah, she loves music too & get all excited when she listens to them.
What a musical lil bub we have there! We tried to have a 3D scan to see lil bub
but lately she has been very shy & she only allowed us to see her back.
What a cheeky lil one. Lol.
During this whole pregnancy,
prayers have comfort us alot. We truly believe in the power of prayers. That is
how we got our lil bub after so many years of trying to conceive. Everything
comes from God! Every night, Eric & I will pray for the lil bub. We truly
hope that she will be brought up knowing her Creator, learn her bible verses,
possesses all the wonderful characteristics, healthy and also joyful ALL the
time. Those are our biggest dreams for her. Of course, we pray for wisdom &
patience to educate her everyday. It's never easy to be parents but I believe
God will lead us through each step. It is still so surreal to have a life
living in me & can’t wait to meet her face to face. I can only thank God
for this beautiful blessing & for his faithful providence!
Guess what, this coming Saturday,
we will be having a second maternity photo shoot session with our photographer,
Sunny Tan. We are pretty excited! We will leave you with more of our maternity
photo shoot we took last November at Penang. If you haven’t seen the first
batch, you may do so HERE. Happy New Year 2013 to all of you!! I hope this year
will be a good year for YOU.
My one little word this year is CELEBRATE. They are so many things to celebrate in life & in 2013!

A special dedication to Eric:
Thanks hubby for being so supportive throughout my life and also throughout this pregnancy. You never once complained about being tired or exhausted taking care of me & loving me affectionately! I can only thank God for YOU. I love you and I know our lil bub will do too! You will be the greatest dad to our child(ren). Xoxo.
